Marina Abdel Malak is a nursing student with an interest in medicine and mental illness. She is an active advocate for the National Eating Disorder Information Centre and volunteers with many organizations. She loves to read, write, laugh, and learn new things. She has recovered from a seven-year battle with anorexia nervosa. Marina enjoys travelling to various schools and organizations to speak about mental illness, eating disorders, bullying and medicine.
