Jamie Bramburger
Orginally trained as a broadcast journalist, Jamie Bramburger spent thirteen years in radio and television before becoming Manager of Community and Student Affairs at Algonquin College’s Pembroke Campus, a position he has held for the past twenty-five years.
Sudden Impact – The Almonte Train Wreck of 1942 is his second book. His first, Go Kings Go! A Century of Pembroke Lumber Kings Hockey, was released in 2018 and has since become an eastern Ontario regional best-seller.
Jamie lives in the Pembroke area with his wife Barb, to whom he has been married for thirty-six years. They have two adult children and two grandchildren. When not writing, Jamie can be found promoting Algonquin College, watching a Lumber Kings hockey game, or volunteering in the community.
