Joe Crewman, a very large and sometimes violent Federal Agent, is joined by a self-described Polish leprechaun in an investigation of an international drug smuggling enterprise operating out of Montreal. The tale involves Haitian street gangs, motorcycle organizations, and international drug cartels with diplomatic connections. The story takes place in both urban and rural Quebec.

It is a fast-moving and sometimes comical narrative involving a series of interesting and believable characters highlighted by Crewman’s unorthodox methods, leading to a surprise twist at the end.
