Fred Gaffen
Fred Gaffen is a retired military historian. He has degrees in history from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. He worked for many years at the Canadian War Museum on displays, collecting artefacts, and editing historical publications. Among his own books are Forgotten Soldiers, In the Eye of the Storm and Unknown Warriors.
