FRANK COSENTINO has been playing, coaching, teaching, or writing about sport for five decades.
As one of the last Canadian quarter-backs, Cosentino played for Hamilton, Edmonton, and Toronto, participating in five Grey Cup games from 1961 through 1965 with two championship wins in 1963 and 1965. He was also head football coach for two university teams, York and Western, where he led his Mustangs team to two Vanier Cup victories in 1971 and 1974.
He is a graduate of Western (HBA), McMaster (BPE), and University of Alberta (MA, PhD). He is currently retired from York University and is a Professor Emeritus and Senior Scholar and a Fellow of Stong College.
Frank has authored or co-authored seventeen books on Canadian sport.
