Educated in public health nursing and business management, Judith has had thirty years’ experience in community and occupational health nursing, serving in both grass-roots and management positions. As assistant director of the Ottawa–Carleton Home Care Program from 1981 to 1986, she played a key role in the implementation of one of the first palliative home care programs in Canada. Her last position prior to retirement was with the federal sector, where she served a major crown corporation for ten years as (national) Manager, Medical and Nursing Services.

Her first book, titled Energy Wellness, was published in 2004, followed two years later by I Brake for Butterflies: Finding Divinity in All That Is. Her most recent publication, The Caregiver’s Companion, was published in 2013.  Judith facilitates courses, workshops, and retreats on the subjects of holistic wellness, energy healing, care for the caregiver, bereavement, and women’s spirituality. She volunteers regularly as a complementary therapy practitioner at Hospice Care Ottawa.
