The Mayerthorpe Story ─ From Ambush to Aftermath

In March 2005, near Mayerthorpe, Alberta, a demented loner with a long criminal record ambushed and murdered four RCMP members.  Then he committed suicide.  Four years later, two young men were sentenced to lengthy prison terms as parties to those murders.

This book is based on interviews with many of the principals involved.  It unravels the details of all phases of this story, which is one of the most violent and complex tales in the annals of Canadian crime.
