Richard Paton has been president of the Chemistry Industry Association since 1996. This association represents fifty chemistry companies and partners who are major contributors to the Canadian economy. He is a graduate of Carleton University with a Masters in Canadian Studies and an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
Richard has taught a very popular and highly practical management course in Carleton’s Masters in Public Policy and Administration Program over the past twenty-five years.
Richard has created a uniquely relevant and useful book that brings together the experience of a practicing association leader with the insights from his teaching and research on the requirements for leading associations.
